서울·경기·인천 등 수도권 지역 코로나19 확진자가 급증하면서 물리적(사회적) 거리 두기 단계가 최고 수준인 4단계로 상향 조정되자 다른 지자체에 비상이 걸렸다. 수도권 지역 주민들이 다른 지역으로 이동하는 경우 이른바 ‘풍선효과’에 따른 코로나19 확산이 크게 우려되기 때문이다. 주변 지자체 등은 수도권 주민의 지역 유입을 막기 위한 대응책을 잇따라 내놓고 있다.
충남도는 현재 1단계인 거리 두기를 13일부터 2단계로 올리기로 했다고 12일 밝혔다. 수도권에서 전철을 한 번만 타면 올 수 있는 천안과 아산에 대해서는 사적모임 인원 제한을 4명까지로 대폭 강화했다. 충남은 그동안 거리두기 1단계를 적용하면서 천안·논산지역만 사적모임 인원 제한을 8명으로 제한하고, 나머지 지역은 무제한으로 해왔다.
As the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the metropolitan area such as Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon rapidly increased, the level of physical (social) distancing was raised to Level 4, the highest level, and other local governments were in crisis. This is because there is great concern about the spread of Corona 19 due to the so-called “balloon effect” when residents in the metropolitan area move to other areas. Neighboring local governments are taking measures one after another to prevent the inflow of residents from the metropolitan area.
South Chungcheong Province announced on the 12th that it has decided to raise the distance from the first level to the second level from the 13th. For Cheonan and Asan, which can be reached by only one train ride from the metropolitan area, the limit of the number of private gatherings has been significantly strengthened to four. In the meantime, while applying the first stage of distancing, Chungcheongnam-do has limited the number of private gatherings to eight people only in the Cheonan and Nonsan regions, and unlimited in the rest of the regions.
