한국의 문화 - 정월 대보름

Tomorrow, February 19th is called "jeong-wol dae-bo-leum" in Korea.
January 15 is the day of the full moon rising in the lunar calendar. This day means the start date of farming.
On this day, Korean people mix 5 different kinds of grain and make rice. This is called "O-gog-bab". They also bite and eat hard foods such as walnuts and pine nuts. This act is called "Bu-rum-ggae-gi". At night the children go up the hill and play with the fire. This is called "Jui-bul-nol-i". There are various food and play depending on the province.
Tomorrow night, you may even see children and adults playing with fire in the neighborhood.

오늘 2월 19일을 한국에서는 '정월 대보름'이라고 부릅니다.
음력으로 1월 15일이면서보름달이 뜨는 날입니다. 이날은 농사의 시작일을 의미합니다.
이날 한국 사람은은 5가지의 곡식을 섞어서 밥을 지어 먹습니다. 이 밥을 '오곡밥'이라고 부릅니다. 호두나 잣과 같은 딱딱한 음식을 깨물어 먹기도 합니다. 이리한 행위는 '부럼깨기'라고 부릅니다. 밥이 되면 어린이들은 언덕에 올라가 붙 장난을 합니다. 이것을 '쥐불놀이'라고 합니다. 지방에 따라서 여러가지 음식과 놀이가 있습니다.
내일 밤이면 비록 근처에서 불장난하는 어린이들을 볼 수도 있습니다.
