Korean is a traditional language spoken by its people. Over the tens of thousands years it has been naturally created by aborigines; whereas Hangul is the name of the character in writing. Hangul is composed of 14 consonants and 10 vowels, produced for people six hundred years ago by the King Sejong the Great.
Korean comes along with Mongolian, Turkish, Tungus and Manchurian, and follows Altaic language system.
First, Korean sentences are constructed in order of "Subject + object + predicate,’ and this is shown in Japanese, Mongolian, Turkish, Burmese and Hindi.
Second, the modifier always comes before the modificator; and the positioning of sentence components are a lot free.
Third, the way of expression will be different due to social status and age, in accordance with the respective wording.
Besides these, there are many more features such as expression of shapes or better sounds.
Typical features of "Hangul" are:
First, Hangul is the letter which we clearly know who the creator was, date of invention and its purpose. It was made by the King Sejong the Great—the 4th king of Joseon dynasty—who wished to express its wording easily by everyone and came up with it in 1443.
Second, Hangul is consist of 10 vowels and 14 consonants. Each vowel is shaped like a sky (.), a person (ㅣ), or a ground (ㅡ). Each consonant mimics the shape of the lips and throat.
Third, unlike characters that make different sounds according to words, Hangul vowels have a certain sound even in other words. Hangul consonants have a similar shape to similar sounds. For example, ㄱ [g], ㅋ [k], and ㄲ [kk] have similar shapes with similar sounds.
