안녕하세요
Do you text often? Then, do you use emoticon often as well?
Have you realized that there is something different and fun in Korean emoticon?
You may be familiar with these emoticons :) :( :o) :< :D ,which are focusing on mouth
Let's take a look at Korean style :
^.^ ^o^ (smile) ^____^ (big smile) ^.~ (wink) *^.^* (shy) ㅜ.ㅜ (crying.tears) ㅠ.ㅠ (so sad-two tears) *O* (shocked)
o_o (surprised) ^^; (embarrassed) ^_^;; (sweat with embarrassment) =.= (upset or bored) (-.-)zz (sleeping) @_@ (confused)
The emoticons above are so common that I also often use in my texts.
You can see the difference- Korean emoticons focus more on eyes than mouth
so why don't you try in your text today? I bet you will be 인사 at once
*인사 is a short form of "인사이더 insider" which is very trendy word meaning 'a popular person' (insider - 인사이더 -인사)
