It is a traditional Korean wooden wind instrument. It is a musical instrument that blows a hole in a thick long bamboo and blows it horizontally. The player must play his / her head to the left, because it is played on the player's left shoulder. It is the only musical instrument that is played in this form throughout the East and the West.
The length of Dae-Geum is over 80 centimeters. It is the largest of Korean traditional wind instruments.
Dae-Geum is widely used in court music, folk music, dance music and so on. It is also used in modern movie and popular music. It can also be played with a variety of instruments.
In the history book written about a thousand years ago, Dae-Geum is introduced. It was an instrument that was so important to say that there were 324 songs that were played using Dae-Geum at the time. This musical instrument is also found in the murals of the noble tombs of two thousand years ago and in the sculptures in the temple.


대금은 한국의 전통적인 관악기이다. 굵고 긴 대나무에 구멍을 뚫어 가로로 부는 악기입니다. 연주자의 왼쪽 어깨에 얹어서 연주하기 때문에 연주자는 고개를 왼쪽으로 틀어야 합니다. 동양과 서양을 통틀어서 이런 형태로 연주되는 유일한 악기입니다.
대금의 길이는 80센티미터가 넘습니다. 한국 전통적인 관악기 중에서 가장 큽니다. 대금은 궁중 음악, 민속 음악, 무용 음악 등에서 매우 넓게 사용됩니다. 현대의 영화 음악이나 대중 음악에서도 사용 됩니다. 피리, 해금, 장구, 북과 같은 악기와 함께 연주 될 수도 있습니다.
1천년 전에 쓰여진 역사책에서도 대금이 소개하고 있습니다. 당시 대금을 사용하여 연주된 곡이 324곡이 있었다고 할 정도로 중요한 악기였습니다. 2천년전의 귀족들의 무덤의 벽화라든가 절에 있는 조각품에서도 이 대금의 모습이 발견 됩니다.
