봉오동 전투의 영웅, 독립운동가 '홍범도' 장군의 유해가 오는 15일 광복절에 카자흐스탄에서 봉환된다.
청와대는 광복절 76돌을 맞아 카자흐스탄 크즐오르다에 안장되어 있는 홍범도 장군의 유해를 모셔올 예정이라고 밝혔다. 15일 저녁 고국에 도착하는 홍 장군의 유해는 16~17일 국민추모기간을 거친 뒤 대전현충원에 18일 안장될 예정이다.
문 대통령은 유해 봉환을 위해 14일 황기철 국가보훈처장을 특사로 하는 특사단을 카자흐스탄에 파견할 예정이다. 특사단에는 홍범도장군기념사업회 이사장인 우원식 더불어민주당 의원과 국민대표 자격으로 조진웅 배우가 참여한다.

On the 76th anniversary of the Liberation Day, the Blue House announced that it will bring the remains of General Hong Beom-do, which is buried in Kzulorda, Kazakhstan. The remains of General Hong, who arrived in Korea on the evening of the 15th, will be buried in Daejeon Cemetery on the 18th after going through a national commemoration period on the 16th and 17th.
On the 14th, President Moon plans to send a special delegation to Kazakhstan, headed by Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Hwang Ki-cheol, as a special envoy to repatriate the remains. In the special delegation, Won-sik Woo, chairman of the General Hong Beom-do Memorial Foundation, and Jin-woong Cho, a member of the national representative, participate.
