Korean adjectives, like verbs, have a tail attached to the word, and the adjective itself becomes a predicate.
For example, in English, when you say 'this place is beautiful', it comes with the verb 'be' before 'beautiful' and those become a predicate.
However, Korean doesn't need the verb 'be'. The adjective itself becomes a predicate by the tail of the word '-ㅂ습니다.'
